We came up with a few locations in which we could shoot our trailer. These locations were key to our film as they very relatable places for our trailer effective.
Owl Centre - The barn owl centre was the first place we visited to film our first scene. As the film is called the 'Falconer' we thought it would only be right to obtain clips from this location. In order for us to do this we had to contact the owner of the sanctuary to arrange a time and a plan of what scenes we wanted for our trailer. We took a basic Canon camera, microphone and a green screen that we ordered specifically for this occasion. Whilst we were down at the bird sanctuary we were lucky enough to get two birds of prey that was perfect for our trailer. We managed to get various flying clips of the birds and a few sound clips which would benefit our trailer.

Hempstead Water Front - We decided to film at this location for the next scene of the trailer as it was close and was very much what we imagined for the scary parts of the film. Also the place was very open so this meant that we could fly the drone around without hitting anything or causing any upset to the people living around there. the place was empty when we filmed this made the clip look a lot more deserted and lonely when we edited all the clips together giving the clip a freaky and mysterious atmosphere. as the location has a river this made the clips more cinematic which would draw the audience in as they owuld not think its a boring trailer.

Hempstead Water Front (Woods) - This was an additional location that gave our trailer of a variety of scenes. The woodland provides a lonely abandoned atmosphere as there was no one present. There is a large stereotype for bad things happening in woodland areas; therefore we decided to take advantage of this location for our filming. We were able to film the killer in his prime stalking stage where no one around him can see how obsessed he is. Also the audience will connect to the victim as they will fear that something bad is going to happen as the woodlands is in the middle of nowhere.

another location that we used for one short scene was the top of the ncp car park in town, up here there we went to film some birds eye view shots of the city but as the group were provided with a drone we didn't need to do this, so instead we got a flock of birds flying of the roof of a building, we got the birds to fly off the roof by clapping loudly. we were then able to use this clip and link it with the word/title 'Falconer'.
